Puppy For Sale Brooklyn New York
“Puppy For Sale Brooklyn New York”
Just the very words in the line “Puppy for Sale Brooklyn New York” raised the hairs on the back of my neck. It brought to mind visions of puppies lined up in cages. Ever wary of the whole puppy mill industry I tend to shy away from pet store purchased animals. I decided to do a random online search for “Puppy For Sale Brooklyn New York” just to see what was out there. I was amazed at the numbers it generated. It produced an incredible two million seven hundred thousand plus possibilities. By this point I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. Where should you look?
It is amazing at the number of listings available. There are all kinds of shops and pet boutiques all over Brooklyn and greater New York with puppies for sale. There are those with new age hybrids that are all the rage, like the goldenoodle (a golden retriever and a poodle?) With these puppies selling for outrages prices and often bred in horrendous conditions. It makes my heartache. What is a hybrid dog? Isn’t this just a mutt? I don’t know. ATany rate I was never much into the whole pure breed thing thinking the gene pool does tend to be pretty shallow with pure breeds and have always found the healthiest dogs to have mix breed.
On the topic of mutts, with over twelve million dogs are put down senselessly each year, I cannot recommend visiting your local pound, rescue or no kill shelter enough when you are considering buying or adopting a puppy in the Brooklyn area. There are many wonderful no kill shelters in the Brooklyn and greater New York State area like:

A puppy is truly a wonderful addition to any home, they are always cute and cuddly but remember puppies soon turn into to dogs and it is always a good idea to research breed temperment and behavior and select an animal that is compatible to you and your lifestyle.
