As you grow together over time, you can teach your dog when it is okay to bark and when he should remain quiet. You will want to train your dog to be comfortable with situations in which he is alone. Since this is a common situation where dogs bark, your dog needs to know that he is safe, that you will be back soon ad that he should remain calm while you are gone.
